Krista McMorran-Maus, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Dr. Krista McMorran-Maus is a licensed and credentialed speech-language pathologist in Trabuco Canyon, CA.  She has provided speech, language, and auditory services to children and adolescents in early start and schools since 2003.  Recognized as having expertise in auditory therapy for deaf and hard of hearing (D/HH) students and key word signing, Krista has presented on related-topics for university courses, seminars, conventions, and schools. Krista has also provided cognitive-communication, language, and swallowing services to adults diagnosed with aphasia, dysphagia, and dementia in their homes and a skilled nursing facility.

In addition to being an SLP, Krista is an equestrian who has cared for, ridden, and owned horses since childhood. In her adolescent years, she was a lesson volunteer at The Orange County Riding Center and then The J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center where she gained valuable equine-assisted therapy experience.
